Veerachan was born in Uttaradith province, Northern Thailand.  He went on to study at the College of Fine Arts in Bangkok, and then moved to Vienna Austria where he studied and worked as a professional artist mentoring several of the most respected members of the European‘s art community.

Between 1991 and 1999 he had exhibitions several times in Europe, mostly in Austria.

After 11 years in Europe, in the year 2000, he returned to Thailand with works titled “The Fantasy Portraits“ which were exhibited at Gaysorn Plaza, Bangkok.

In 2002 he unveiled the four-meter high sculpture and painting on teak wood titled "The Three Worlds“ which was commissioned by the  Museum of Contemporary Arts in Bangkok, Thailand. The massive art piece took three years to complete.

After completing “The Three Worlds“, he then embarked on a unique series of works titled “Magic of the Elephant“ depicting the Hindu elephantine deity “Ganesha“ in contemporary recreations of the god’s traditional postures. The collection now numbers eighteen original works on wood, board and canvas.

He is currently working on more pieces for this collection at his Studio and Gallery in Chiangmai, the biggest province in Northern Thailand.
