Wrenna Monet

To Wrenna, art is the doorway between worlds and the bridge of dreams. Some of her paintings have no meaning, some do. As an artist she allows others to make her visions mould into whatever it is they see or need at that time in space for them.

Wrenna believes painting is a form of meditation. An escape, and a means to transcend what is in her forever- wandering sub-conscious mind.

All of her art is filled with love, light, time, and hidden meanings. She likes to hide things, so look closely as you might find hidden faces, goblins, vaginas, naked women or whatever your eyes will allow you to see. Sometimes she doesn't know what she will paint, believing it to be a magical process that she gives into with patience and persistence.

In 2010, Wrenna was in a near fatal commercial fishing accident while working as a deckhand that left her with a blood clot in her brain, a traumatic brain injury, fibromyalgia and loss of identity.

After years of rehabilitation, doctors, a positive lifestyle, a great support group and lots of hard work, Wrenna now has a beautiful view of what “magic” really is and a thirst to paint everything.
